How Oakenford is made

Artwork, garment and print.

We develop the artwork for Oakenford and print each T-shirt to order in the UK on a heavyweight organic-cotton tee.

01

Developed for Oakenford.

Our designs range from mountain landscapes and forest paths to shield emblems and illustrated characters.

The collections use different print shapes, including tall deck-inspired illustrations, circular landscapes and framed designs. Where a design is offered on light and dark garments, we prepare the artwork separately for each colour.

02

A heavyweight organic-cotton tee.

Oakenford’s standard T-shirts use the Stanley/Stella Sparker 2.0: a 215gsm organic-cotton unisex tee with a substantial feel and relaxed fit.

The garment is available from XS to XXL. Full measurements and guidance can be found on our Delivery, Returns & Sizing page.

03

Printed to order in the UK.

Each T-shirt is printed in the UK after an order is placed.

We print after you order instead of holding stock of every design, colour and size. Production normally takes 3–5 working days before dispatch.

04

Checked as a complete product.

We check the size and position of the artwork on the garment, including how the front logo and back print work together.

As the range develops, we use physical samples to check the fabric feel, print detail, colour and placement.

05

Looking after your T-shirt.

Wash similar colours together at 30°C. Wash and iron inside out, do not iron directly over the print, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.

Following these instructions will help preserve both the garment and printed artwork.
