1. About Oakenford

This website is operated by Steven Bull, a sole trader trading as Oakenford.

References in these terms to “Oakenford”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Steven Bull trading as Oakenford.

These terms apply when you use this website or purchase a product from Oakenford. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Our products

Oakenford sells graphic clothing developed specifically for its distinct collections. Products are normally printed to order by our production and fulfilment partners.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, artwork, positioning and garment details accurately. However, colours can appear differently depending on your screen, and minor variations may occur through garment manufacture and the printing process.

Measurements and fit information are approximate. Please review the relevant size guide before ordering.

3. Placing an order

You must provide complete and accurate information when placing an order.

After you submit an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order. We may contact you if there is a problem with the product, payment, delivery information or availability.

A contract between you and Oakenford is formed when we accept your order and begin processing it for production. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless the website states otherwise. The product price and any applicable delivery charge will be shown before you complete your purchase. Oakenford is not currently registered for VAT and does not charge VAT separately.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed. Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

We may correct an obvious pricing error. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you before proceeding and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Production and delivery

Oakenford products are generally printed to order. Current production times, delivery estimates and charges are provided on our Delivery, Returns & Sizing page and during checkout.

Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will assist where an order is materially delayed or lost.

You are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact hello@oakenford.com as soon as possible if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once production or dispatch has begun.

Responsibility for the product passes to you when it is delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive it.

6. Cancelling or returning an order

For most online purchases, you may cancel your order within 14 days beginning on the day after delivery.

To exercise this right, email hello@oakenford.com within the cancellation period and clearly state that you wish to cancel. You must then return the product within a further 14 days.

You are responsible for the cost of returning a cancelled order unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described. We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage.

You may inspect and try on a product as you would in a shop. We may reduce a refund where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has diminished the product’s value.

7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

Products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

If your product arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact hello@oakenford.com with your order number and details of the problem. Photographs may help us assess the issue quickly.

Where appropriate, Oakenford will arrange a refund, replacement or another remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. We will cover reasonable return costs where a return is required because of a fault or error.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method.

For a valid cancellation, we will refund the product price and the cost of our standard outbound delivery. Any additional amount paid for an enhanced delivery service is not refundable.

We may withhold a cancellation refund until we receive the returned product or acceptable evidence that it has been sent back. Refunds will be processed within the timescales stated on our Delivery, Returns & Sizing page and required by applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

The Oakenford name, logo, website content, product artwork, graphics, photographs and written material are owned by or licensed to Oakenford and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit this material without prior written permission. Purchasing an Oakenford product does not transfer ownership of the artwork or any associated intellectual-property rights.

10. Website availability and acceptable use

You must not misuse this website, attempt to interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, access it using unauthorised methods or use it for unlawful purposes.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption.

11. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer purchase or for loss caused by information or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

12. Personal information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Shopify and our payment, production, fulfilment and delivery partners may process information where necessary to operate the store, take payment and fulfil your order.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal obligations.

The terms applying to your purchase will be those in force when you place your order. The latest version will remain available on this website.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.

We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve any concern directly.
